Our son, stage name Michael Barron, is moving on up to tour with Disney’s magic show! He’s been performing daily at ArabianNights but it’s time to go on the road.
Think it’s going to be a very exciting way to see the world for him. The first six months are in Latin America. It should be great fun … an a bunch of hard work! Catch the show when he comes to town. They’ll be in the USA in 2010. Congratulations MIKE … don’t let the STARS blind you (it’s Dad’s Day Sunday!)

30th Anniversary Beucephalus
We have made a NEW version of the Beucephalus figurine inspired by the movie “The Black Stallion” (1979) for the thirtieth anniversary of this Academy Award winning film.
Take a look! Tell us what you think!
I don’t know if we’ll have them forever, they’re more work, it depends on YOU! These are cast bronze, then oxidized and hand rubbed to give a wonderful aged patina. Truly a one-of-a-kind. The perfect gift! We have them in silver and finished bronze, as well. About 1.75 inches tall & nose to tail. Approximately one ounce.
Thanks for reading!

Black Stallion in Lakeland Florida

It was another great 2 days of the Black Stallion Literacy Foundation in Lakeland Florida.
If you can’t come to Orlando for the show … the show will come to you!
This time we had to be outside which is a bit tougher but Alec is used to being on an island and the Black is a desert horse!
There’s more coming this summer with camps and after school programs so be sure to check out BSLP.org!
Navajo and Little Black, a Pony
Hi all,
We just returned from our eventful trip to Arizona and New Mexico wqhere we were working on a partnership with the Navajo Department of Education and the Black Stallion Literacy Foundation. The “Little Black, a Pony” Navajo translation book, is going to be distributed all across the Navajo reservation. That might not sound like a BIG deal but it is … it took a few years and lots of help to get the people in place to make it happen … in all four states (Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, Colorado)!
I want to send a special THANK YOU out to our friends in Window Rock that helped SO much … Irving and all your friends are doing a Great job. Thanks again Louise, and special thank you to Mr. Ayze and all the council members.
I have included the description of the partnership if you are interested in the details … it’s a beautiful world in the southwest … visit soon and often!
A special event is scheduled for Jun 5, 2009 in Window Rock, AZ. Read more
