THE BLACK STALLION READ-A-THON!
Walter Farley’s wondrous tales of adventures of horses are for all ages! Join us as we read these tales throughout Sarasota County, February 1 to April 1.
Read a book from the list on the reverse side of this bookmark. Write a sentence about your favorite part.
Fill out the entry blank below and return it to any Sarasota County Library’s Youth Services desk by April 1.
You may enter any number of times, each time with a different book. There is no age limit—children, teens, and adults are invited to join the adventure.
Each entry is a raffle ticket for 5 pairs of tickets to Orlando’s Arabian Nights! There will be Walter Farley books given away to other winners. The drawing will be sometime during National Library Week, April 13-19 at the Walter Farley Literary Landmark at the Venice Library, 300 South Nokomis Avenue on the island of Venice.
